Erik is a co-owner and director at Entertainment Intelligence (Ei).

Working with labels and distributors that have direct DSP deals, Ei is unique in its ability to seamlessly collect, blend and present granular data from a wide variety of sources, including but not limited to Spotify, Deezer, Google, Apple Music, and YouTube, in addition to social metrics. Our platform helps clients understand their audience and to increase business & marketing efficiencies. With an industry leading dashboard [each client has its own data silo] Ei collects and serves data at breath taking speed, providing insights across a client’s entire catalogue. This, combined with the ability to share data with all stakeholders in the eco-system of a release (artist, manager, promoter, agent, etc.), Ei provides a truly transparent level of reporting. Clients include, Africori Ltd., Cargo Records (UK), Concord Music Group, Domino Recording Co., Dualtone, Foundation Media, Hopeless Records, LANDR, Mom & Pop, mTheory, Mushroom, Naxos, Secret City, Secretly Distribution, Symphonic Distribution, Xelon, and others.

Prior to that, as an executive at The Cooking Vinyl Group, he was a board director at Essential Music & Marketing. Essential was acquired by Sony in 2016.

A founding member of A2IM, Erik served on the Merlin board from 2012-2016.

Erik also led global label acquisition and client strategy for digital distributor The Independent Online Distribution Alliance (IODA), serving on its executive management team. IODA was acquired by Sony in 2009.

Erik successfully started, built, and managed the independent record labels Asphodel & 75 Ark, neither of which were acquired by Sony.

In his spare time he runs a successful boutique music publishing business, Duchamp, Inc.
