Whether a steadfast indie, major or startup rights-holder organization, there is nothing minor about the decisions surrounding your digital approach. Rights-holder longevity and success is increasingly tied to digital initiatives and in many ways that means finding the right set of tools for maintaining or increasing independence and control. With the influx of affordable tools, the playing field has somewhat been leveled. But where does it make sense to cut corners vs when does one absolutely need to invest in enterprise solutions? What workflows or value propositions do rights-holders need to take ownership of and what does this all mean for the unique anatomy and relevance of a label and publisher?

This panel will look at the decisions a rights-holder needs to make when constructing their digital setup. From the economics of distribution to the technical requirements of delivery, DSP relationships, publishing, analytics, royalty reporting, marketing and everything in between, this group of experts will discuss their experiences with an independent setup that sees success on digital platforms.
