John Hammond is the Head of Marketing & Digital Strategy at Missing Piece Group, a marketing, public relations and management agency. Hammond has managed album campaigns for a range of artists and labels including Ashley Monroe, Halsey, Belly, Ben Watt, Jon Batiste, and many more. Prior to working with MPG, Hammond led digital and marketing efforts for Sony BMG, Wind-up Records, TVT Records, and Rykodisc, pioneering techniques such as band widgets, social networking in music, user-generated content, and direct-to-fan marketing. He also manages folk musician Cale Tyson, and is a talent buyer for the NJ concert series Outpost in the Burbs.
