Akiko Rogers is an agent at WME. She started her career as an assistant at APA Agency working under Jim Gosnell and Dick Gilmore. She booked the first American artist in Vietnam and then started booking the influx of American artists in Southeast Asia in the early 90s. Rogers has been with WME for 16 years and has spent the last three years in the Nashville office, where she is solely responsible for booking all of their Country roster internationally — including Thomas Rhett, Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Chris Young, The Cadillac Three, Brett Eldredge and many others. She has served on The Recording Academy’s board of governors in Los Angeles and is currently on the board of governors for the Nashville chapter, as well as serving on the entertainment committee for the ASPCA.
