Glenn Dicker started in music business with Rounder Distribution/Records in 1988. In 1994, he started Upstart Records. In 1997, Dicker partnered with Tor Hansen in Redeye, now the exclusive physical/digital distributor in North America for many leading indie labels including Barsuk, Warp, Kill Rock Stars, Ninja Tune, Burger, Drag City, City Slang, Luaka Bop, Wichita, Soul Jazz, Daptone, Anitcon, and many others, and provides worldwide services for many of its partners. Now in its 21st year of being a true indie, Redeye is a leading independent voice in the community. Dicker/Hansen also own the Yep Roc Music Group and Riff City Sounds. Dicker is currently on the Board of Directors of Merlin, Music Business Association and A2IM. Redeye has won several Music Biz (formerly NARM) Distributor of the Year Awards over the years and in May of 2016, was awarded the Independent Spirit Award from Music Biz.
