James Blades is the President of Blades Entertainment and just recently transitioned from his previous role as artist manager at McGhee Entertainment. Since joining McGhee in 2003, he has worked with A-list musical artists including KISS, Guns N' Roses, Slipknot, Ted Nugent, Hootie & The Blowfish, Darius Rucker, Blues Traveler, Down, amongst others. Blades previously managed TOTO and has managed Night Ranger since 2007. His expertise covers a wide range of each artist’s career, from touring, merchandising and direct to consumer, to licensing, branding, marketing and distribution across all mediums. He provides each client with a solid understanding of how to best reach their fan base and maximize revenue from sales of recorded, filmed and ancillary products, while solving business needs with music, media and marketing solutions.
