Jonathan Bender is the COO of SoundExchange, a non-profit collective rights management organization that has distributed more than $5 billion in digital royalties for sound recordings to recording artists and rights owners since its inception in 2003. Bender has 25 years of experience in the music industry, with a particular focus on designing and implementing digital workflows and asset management systems that are needed to support an industry of streaming micro-transactions. Prior to joining SoundExchange, Bender served in senior operational roles at Universal Music Group, EMI Music, and Concord Music Group.
