Linda Edell Howard is a Partner with Adams and Reese LLP and Team Leader of the firm’s Entertainment and New Media practice group. In this role, she leads the firm’s practice with emerging technology businesses, entertainment-related professionals, intellectual property rights owners, entrepreneurs, the creative communities of artists, songwriters, producers, television talent, influencers, social media players as well as managers, publishers and record labels. Howard has more than 30 years of experience in the areas of entertainment, new media and technology, and domestic and international intellectual property law. She is a tireless and passionate advocate for the protection of intellectual property rights and the recapture of United States copyrights by creators and their heirs. Close to her heart is representing the family members of deceased creators. She has been recognized in leading business, legal and charitable publications with top awards.
